A couple weeks ago we dished our favorite fall skincare products. This week, we’re sharing top tips and tricks on how to get radiant skin. Don’t let cooler weather take control of your skin– between major dry spells and dullness, maintaining smooth skin can be a challenge but stick to these top ten fall skincare tips and your skin will be soft and supple all season long.

Exfoliate. A good facial exfoliant will help remove dead skin cells. We recommend exfoliating once or twice a week.
Purchase an oil based moisturizer. To protect your skin from moisture loss, an ointment that contains 80 percent oil will keep skin feeling soft.
Invest in a quality pair of gloves. Excessive exposure to cold weather will dry your hands out quickly.
Drink water. Yes, it seems cliché but it’s the easiest and best way to keep your skin hydrated. Carry a bottle of water with you at all times.
Incoproate flaxseed oil in to your diet. Flaxseed oil is rich in fatty acids and can moisturize your body from the inside.
Treat yourself to a relaxing jojoba oil bath. Add a few drops for a nourishing cleanse.
Slather on the sunscreen. Winter sun and snow glare can be extremely damaging to skin.
Plug in the humidifier. Central heating systems blast hot dry air but humifiers get more moisture in the air and help prevent your skin from drying out.
Avoid facial peels. Harsh toners, masks and peels can strip those vital oils from your face.
Stop taking super hot showers. Soaking in a burning hot bath or shower breaks down lipid barriers in skin which will lead to a loss of moisture. Opt for warm water.
